EXT BLE Board
Bluetooth expansion board
EXT BLE Board The BLE expansion board extends KVM functionality. For feature details, see: EXT BLE Board Assembly The board comes with acrylic covers and screws. Install the acrylic covers and screws before use Step 1: Remove the acrylic protective film Gently lift the edge of the acrylic with tweezers, a blade, or a sharp tool to find a film layer. Peel it off, and the acrylic becomes transparent Step 2: Install the hex standoffs Use the screwdriver handle to insert the hex standoffs into the PCBA holes, then tighten them with the hex driver Step 3: Secure the acrylic covers and screws Place the acrylic covers. Each has a front and back side; the side with larger screw holes faces outward Fasten the acrylic covers to the hex standoffs with screws Repeat on the back of the PCBA. The difference is that the back uses round standoffs Connection Connect KVM, expansion board, and Host Connect the KVM, expansion board, and Host. The expansion board KVM USB port is directional, so pay attention to the connector orientation between the KVM and the expansion board. Use the short USB 3.1 cable included in the package. You can tell the USB orientation from the cable markings and the device silkscreen (in rare cases the cable silkscreen is reversed, so if connection still fails after repeated attempts, flip one end of the cable and try again) Connect the expansion board USB to the target The expansion board supports 5 modes. The default is mode 0, which only needs one USB cable connecting to USB2. The USB mode can be configured dynamically on the web page The 5 modes are as follows: Mode value Mode USB1 USB2 Description 0 Single USB full port mode Leave empty Keyboard + relative mouse + absolute mouse + CDC serial Supports bidirectional clipboard 1 Dual USB CDC mode Keyboard Relative mouse + absolute mouse + CDC serial 1.
